Some of your most popular posts were written before 2010. Your writing has staying power!
Thanks for flying with WordPress.com in 2010.
We look forward to serving you again in 2011! Happy New Year!

Pretty cool how you get the meter reader. I didn’t open my blog to the public until August and took forever figuring out how to add the gadgets. I know what post got the most views and the was “hatred is learned behavior” I was shocked when I figured out how all the stuff worked and to see the break down. I never even looked at that stuff and didn’t know it was even there
I am glad you had a great year with your blog. I hope the coming year will hold more wonderful stories to share and pictures too!
Lots of Love, Deanne
Yup WP is cool like that. I’d never raise a pinkie to make a year in review, so it was great for WP to do it for me. 🙂
I don’t think 14,000 hits is something to crow about, though. I see blogs with a hundred thousand views! But I guess for a blog like mine with a very specific audience niche, it’s good enough.
It’s not in the stats, but the best stat is the number of amazing friends from around the world that I’ve gotten to know through this blog. Like you Deanne! Lotsa love back!
A bell is no bell ’til you ring it,
A song is no song ’til you sing it,
And a year in your past
Wasn’t put there to stay –
year isn’t a new year
‘Til you give it away.. WAY WAY ..
The most beautiful views are the one you share with us ..
in 2010 we are someones love the you “you love”, that’s just fabulous .. US US US.
AJ’s Fan , TAMTOY Jan 4th 2011 ..
And your appreciation is no appreciation if you don’t post it! 🙂 Thanks for posting a comment, Tam! You made my new year.
Looking forward to know more and more places via The Transcendental Tourist!!! Well Done and All The Best AJ!!! 🙂
I hope so too, Nehha! More traveling for 2011! 🙂 I remember you sent me an article about the relaxed visa requirements for India. I’m glad to say that recently, the Philippines has been included in the list of countries for visa-upon-entry to India! And with Air Asia offering rock-bottom fares, I think The Transcendental Tourist could visit India soon! 🙂
congratulations dearie 🙂 you always manage to give me something to think about. 🙂
Thanks dude! What exactly are you thinking about? 🙂
Your blog is worth global attention much more than daily news. The history, visuals, and prose you share are a treasure. The fact that your posts are infrequent yet poignent makes it a treat and yet a staple at the same time. I love reading of your travels and wish a world of new adventures.
Be well,
Ron
Thank you always, Ron. You can’t imagine how much I appreciate your encouraging words. Writing can be a lonely and self-critical activity, but comments like yours make it worth all the trouble.
Hey, it sounds like you’ve done well! I’ll be looking forward to see what you do in 2011. 🙂
Gracias, Madre Teresa! 🙂 Looking forward to your guessing contests as well. Keep me posted dear.
fantastic result .. i’ve got some work to do then .. cheers alan
Hats off on a job well done AJ!
Thanks Alan and Debra! I’m getting embarrassed for posting this. I think WP was just massaging my ego. 🙂
That’s really interesting how you can get a break down of info and stats from the past year from WordPress. I wonder if Blogger has a similiar feature.
Interesting!
It’s so easy to become obsessed with factoids and figures in WP. This is just a summary, actually. WP gives users far more detailed stats in different categories; checking it daily has become a guilty pleasure. LOL!
Cool tool! I challenge you to knock it off the scale in 2011:)
Haven’t even written anything this year yet! Pressure! 😀
yeah, I got this 2010 review for my old site sa WP. Cool! 🙂
Wishing you more travels and posts this 2011 AJ! 🙂
Amen to that! Dunno how I could travel more, considering I’m broke all the time – haha! – but I’ve managed for 3 years now. So yeah, I’m curious where this year will take me!
lufet naman ni bossing! hahaha pang isang bwan ko nang hits yung isang araw mo ah! hehehehe… ingat!
Lufet ka jan! My one month is just an hour worth of hits of the “real” travel bloggers noh! Teehee…
This was so cool when I also got the review from WordPress. Congrats on the words with staying power AJ! Although kahit nosebleed minsang yung mga posts, more travels and more in-depth stories! 😀
I could never live down my nosebleed rep. Haha! Thanks Soloflighter, but this post is for 2010. I already have one for 2011 and you’re the blogstar there. 🙂
